Saddam may not be hanging around anymore, Osama may or may not be dead, justice remains to be truly rendered.
The US have a great opportunity to clean the whole mess and restore their status of a great democracy. Actually, impeaching Dubya is its only way out of Iraq.
Don't get me wrong : the US can't abandon what's left of Iraq that soon. It's just that they cannot signify a change in their approach any other way. This country badly needs a regime change and I don't want Dubya to survive 2007 as the oldest G8 leader.
Both George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney must and can be impeached. Treason could be a good start : 2006 was the year a wider audience than this lousy blog's came to understand this Administration's blunders were actually strategical successes for the true W.

Reelecting Bush-Cheney was an Historical blunder, not impeaching them would be criminal.

I've been calling for an impeachment for over 2 years but this could be the time for it to happen.
I understand Dems had to keep a low profile before mid-term elections but now, they can unleash the (watch)dogs and talk impeachment.
The petition is on its way but I cannot join the party of almost 30,000 since I'm not a US citizen.
But YOU, dear netrootizen reader, are more than often a genuine one. So visit Impeachforchange.org and cast your ballot. These "aggressive progressives" plan to create an Impeachment Committee for each of the 435 Congressional Districts.

Don't listen to these no gooders who claim being Republicans but don't support Our Dear Compassionate Leader. You want to feel the same pride as you did while crushing that flip-flopping weasel ? Since nobody dares impeach the man who put the shame on his country, lied to his people, waged an illegal war, implemented illegal taping and abductions, promoted torture, replaced scientists with revisionists..., (and so on and so forth*), I suggest the good citizens of Louisiana to launch a class action lawsuit against George W. Bush.
As Michael Brown puts it, the tapes of the FEMA briefing about Katrina speak for themselves : thousands of people died and this man is guilty.

The State of the Nation ? Just as I predicted before Dubya's landslide Nov 2004 victory : if he wins the Republican Party looses and is bound to implode.
"You're either with us or against us" : these famous November 2001 words are no more related to the so called "fight against terror". This is about a fight against democracy. Either you support the Bush system or you support the values that used to make America respected all over the world.
We shouldn't wait for the 2006 elections as the turning point. The Alito case must be the wake up time for the true democrats (from both the Dem and Rep sides).
And don't you think it's high time impeachment be considered ?

No wonder both the Administration and Cheney Inc set the same priorities : earlier this year, the company subsidiary hired Joe Allbaugh, Bush's former campaign manager. A man who would know all about spotting a potential jackpot since he chaired the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) after leading Dubya to the crown in 2000.
Wars and natural disasters meant as business opportunities. Budget deficits built for big corporation profits. An again, please don't show any picture of these dead bodies, will you ? At last, someone like Carter dares demanding an end to the Guantanamo scandal and Amnesty International dares mentioning USA's network of legal-free but torture-laden prisons as a global gulag archipelago. Every day, the Bush Administration immorality makes the news and Clinton's Oral Offices performances sound relatively harmless compared to the deliberate use of propaganda and falsification (ie the recent NYT paper on the politically alteration of scientific reports on global warming by Philip Cooney, Mr Environment at the White House - yeah, I know it sounds weird but consider there ARE more than a couple of guys in charge of economy in the French government)...
Here is the closest thing to a dictator Amerika ever had, the biggest insult to the spirit of the US constitution, an almost farcical caricature of what a ruler shouldn't be. A notorious dodger, cheater and lyar. Unlike Nixon, Bush didn't have the other party's quarters taped, but he manipulated the total mediasphere of his country and people died for the wrong reasons.
